Gun case question

Added a FF3 this year, and curious what y'all use for a gun case NOT for air travel. I understand for air travel you want the best hard sided case you can afford but what about for in and out of the truck continuously? My soft waterproof case is going to be too tight for the Stoeger now with this mounted. I have a cheapo Walmart single plastic that I plan on using for the time being but have went back to enjoying higher quality soft cases so just wanted to hear thoughts???

I have a couple scoped rifle soft cases I use. They ride on the back seat of my truck so fit is not very critical.
