years ago i tried running some crawdad traps on our local trout streams. some places every step you take in the stream you see half a dozen 4-5 inchers scattering about. i used rotten hot dogs and 2 litter pop bottles as the trap. create a contraption where they can swim in but can't swim out. didn't catch a one
