Had this on my Benelli SBE shooting 3.5" shells so it will handle anything.  Also would be great on a pistol or even an AR-15 etc.  Pulled some camo tape off it, so there is some tape residue that I didn't clean off.  Is in excellent condition and works fine (just fired it up).  Also included is a B-square adaptable vent rib mount that allows you to put it on the barrel of a gun with a vent rib without taping the receiver.  That's how I had it mounted on my SBE.  Any questions let me know.  Hard to find item and built tough.  PS.  The factory rings are Weaver type and my understanding is they will work on a Picatinny rail as well.
