So im in Iowa as a non resident turkey hunting. I flag down a truck, to ask about the public land border i was at.
After a minute, i recognize the passenger from Drury Outdoors(Calab Byers). Long story short, he , his wife, and his Dad were out mushroom hunting.
Lets just say these folks were a true pleasure to chat with, i feel we could have talked for hours. Before we parted ways, they gave me a tip on some gobblers they'd seen a couple days ago on public land.
They gave me directions to it. Low and behold i was toting out a big Tom a couple hours later.
So, a big thank you to them.
