Just got the RSF choke and put it in my SM to do some patterning. Shot a few loads of Win HV 1 3/4 3" 5's just to make sure the POA/POI is on. Shooting the whole pattern in a 10 @ 30yds. Hmm..

Gonna try Fed 3.5 6's TSS tomorrow hopefully after I lay the smack down on a turkey with the Pb 5's.

Win 3.5 LB's
Hevi 13 3.5 6's
Fed HW 7's

They all shot high left out of the RSF .665. POA/POI is fine with Win XX 3" 5's and 6's and good to 40yds with Ventilator .655 and Rem Super Full .665

Looks like I am back to hunting old school. Late season hunting here and the hens have gone to nest in the thick timber and that is where the gobblers are now. Don't even lay eyes on them until they are inside 30yds now. Lead set ups are better for me in this type of hunting. Shooting my Win LB, Hevi 13, and TSS set ups are a great way to increase the chance of missing this time of the season.

Hi. Have you tried 3" loads out of yer SM? Mine prefers the 3" over the 3.5 and so does my shoulder :camohat:

3" shot much better with Winchester Pb.

Ended up staying with the Winchester XX 3/1 3/4/ 5's. Consistently shooting the entire pattern in a 10" @ 30.
