I personally didn't score, but two of my friends did. Both were two year old birds, and weighed in at 20 and 22 pounds. We had a great time, drank a bit too much, but still managed to fix the camp's snow fence, along with splitting/stacking a few cords of wood. Nueske's meats was still open, as was Central Waters brewery, although for carry out only. Same for Friday's fish fry. Not the same, but better than staying at home.
One final note: Think a mature gobbler's loud in the Spring? Try listening to a love sick Sandhill Crane sounding off within 50 yards of your blind! Prehistoric!
