Many on the forum have commented that the only advantage gained by shooting a 10 gauge vs. a 31/2, 12 gauge load is if you shoot Nitro's in the 10 gauge. Well, that may be about to change. EnvironMetal has listed in materials sent to their pro-staff, a "new" 10 gauge, 31/2", 23/8 oz., #7's as being in the pipeline for next year. I would advise any and all interested to call or E-mail EM and encourage them in their load development endeavors especially as it relates to "new" or "improvement" of existing loads. The reaction the this years 12 gauge offerings has varied widely, but regardless, they are still out performing the rest of the factory offerings by almost any standard. Be advised, I may change my tune when my current "old" stash is depleted, and if some of the current problems documented by knowledgable shooters on this site aren't fully resolved.
