I'm trying my hardest, every day off I can squeeze out I'm hunting from daylight to about 1pm, taking a break, and hitting the woods again about 6 until dark. These Georgia birds are covered up in hens and they're not making it easy. There was zero roost gobbling this morning, I made two sets in likely areas and cold called until 12:15 when I had to go pick up my daughter. Didn't raise a single gobble. Heard one very distant bird probably a half mile or better away, definitely wasn't gobbling at me. It's been tough hunting so far.
