Looking at going the last week of season hunting Santa Fe National forest around Jemez or Cibola nf north of Grants. Does anyone have any experience in either of these areas if so pm me please. Not looking for anyones honey holes just looking for some insider info on bird numbers and hunting pressure.

Don't hunt that area,...but report is that the birds are widely scattered.  Hint: cover lots of country with a LOUD locator call at first and last light to find them.  DO NOT go sit in the woods somewhere and assume there is a turkey around.  You might be ten miles from the nearest gobbler!
