4/16 -- Why is it Magic

For me............and whitetails, rather than gobblers.............it's 11/4.

I am 99% a bowhunter, only, when it comes to whitetail bucks.  I will only shoot a buck if I am going to put him on my wall.  Since 2004 (when I started my "ain't shootin' unless he's goin on the wall" rule, I have only killed 6 bucks.  Of those 6.......... 5 were killed on 11/4 !!!!!

4/16 has been a good day for me, too. But, I think it can be greatly attributed to the fact that 4/16 is my birthday, and I always hunt that day until I can't hunt anymore (unless it falls on a Sunday...then I go on the 17th). I've taken 4 birds on the 16th, and one on the 17th on these "birthday hunts".
