Took my 2nd bird in wv yesterday
morning.It
was one of the fastest hunts i've had in a long time.I had walked about 3/4 mile from the truck when i heard him gobble in the other direction.I knew i could'nt get to him before he flew down but i knew where he was so i took off as fast as possible and set up about 75yds away on the back of a hill.I yelped 3 soft yelps and that was it,he came in fast, and after the shot i jumped up to run after him and caught my brand new bottomland pants on a piece of old barbed wire and ripped the whole bottom half of one leg
off.Got
the bird though,9 1/2"beard,20lbs,1"spurs.

Congrats on a fast hunt. Those are awesome, but over too quick sometimes.

Congrats on your gobbler. Good luck with those pants. I also have a few pairs that the crotch is ripped out.

I popped the knee on a brand new pair of insulated camo coveralls. Had to put my spare head net over the white insulation.
Congrats on the gobbler.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
