I killed my second buck of the year on Monday, mature 8 point that looks like s sloth with antlers. I've been off since around the 6th and I have hunted a lot of the days. I spent last week with my Dad on his friend's large quail plantation and killed 5 does but couldn't get a big enough buck in bow range.
I left and went down with a couple of buddies early Monday morning to our lease and set up in a favorite stand of mine. This ol buck came by looking for some female company and I finished up my bucks for the season.
