Favorite Chuck for Mid sized Lathe

Hey guys.  I'm trying to outfit my shop and more specifically my lathe.  I just bought a Jet 1221VS lathe and I'd like to turn a few turkey pots...and maybe some small bowls down the road.  Do you guys recommend a certain type or brand / model of chuck to use for either turkey pots or bowl turning?  I've looked at the Teknatool Nova chucks (not sure I spelled that right) but I'm not sure if that's what I need or which of their models to get.
