Fun time of year...I like hearing all the fall turkey talk,responses back and forth when im calling to them,and then watching what they do..
Nothing like calling in a big flock and picking out which one you want to shoot..

Our next video from our fall season has me on the camera and behind the gun when I find a beautiful smokey gray hen that gets the pass.  When the stars do align and a tom steps in front of the gun barrel.. gun malfunctions provide a little heart break! (More to come on that)

Thanks.  Certainly has proven challenging to me at least.  I'm amazed I get any of them on film to be honest.  Once birds get in close I tend to forget all about that camera.  The gun camera is my saving grace!

Our 3rd video and I'm back up - covering ground, running and gunning I get on a flock that really wants to play - some incredible turkey noises, cutting/cackling/yelping/gobbling - calling all but nonstop right to the gun barrel... It may be a little more work to find situations like this in the fall, but it can be very similar to a spring hunt.  And is awesome when it happens!
