Spending time at my cabin on the river and fishing.. Do some gardening , clip the clover food plots and making homemade ice cream ... got to do some grilling ... call and order few more custom calls and traveling .... Don't forget little rest and relaxing and chatting on Old Gobbler .... :TooFunny:

Make money and put fish in the freezer right now.  In August I'll start deer hunting.

Fly fish, ride my motorcycle, practice my calls, scout for fall bear and elk season.

Back to work, I take off about 3 months for turkey season. I keep all my Gobbler fans and spurs so getting them all cleaned and mounted takes up some time. I also write all my hunting info for everyday in small notebooks I keep in my vest. After the season I rewrite it in a bigger journal type notebook, that usually takes a while. I'm always buying Turkey hunting books so I have a big stack that needs reading .I will start trapping in the winter maybe a few squirrel hunts I don't care about deer anymore.
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

Sad to see the season end. Most shrug their shoulders and move on.
Once I fill my tags I'm finding someone with tags to fill, I go everyday I can.

Once it's over, my wife and I hit the road camping and on the motorcycle in our free time.

Reloading, shooting, shooting my bow, fishing is mixed in there too.
I've got too many hobbies she says.
Recently started golfing, a lot of fun too.

I love being outdoors ... bow season will be here soon and during the winter months it's back to making mouth calls.

Kayak trips here and there.

Plenty of work to do around the house-all the things Iv'e been putting off all hunting season long. Florida has a long hunting season. In Aug we start gator hunting then start bow hunting deer in Oct so that's not really that far off. All that getting up early for hunting season cuts into my beer drinking so I have some catching up to do there as well.

I forgot one thing-last summer I trained up a dog to find wounded deer. It ended up being a lot of fun and very beneficial during hunting season as well. A great summer project-I wish I would have done it sooner. Watching him trail up someones bow shot deer ended up being almost as fun a hunting is.

I am sure he worked fine on gun shot deer too.
