Yep, it's the home stretch now. It seems odd that some of you guys are just getting started up north and the season is so close to ending, or has ended in some places down south.
Like DMP said, we need 4 more birds to reach the 10 bird limit. We are currently at 423 and some change, so if we can put those birds up we have a dang fine chance of winning this contest.
Dereks' 7 bearded monster really pushed us upward and who knows, the next bird that comes to your call might have 8, so stay after it, hunt safe, and have fun.
I have 1 week left and just found 2 gobbling birds with the help of a guy from another forum. We're gonna go after them tuesday morning if I can just figure out how to not be at work tuesday morning !
