SATAN put them here to torture us.

As of today I have had 6 birds withing 60 yards and I have killed ZERO birds. I hate them. When(If) I kill one I am going to kick him the whole way back to the truck!

ROFLMAO...agreed brother...I have hunted them harder this year than any year prior...I have only heard 5 birds all year...two of those were on private property...and have yet to kill one...

I feel you man. Every turkey hunter has these years. It makes the better ones more special. Stay after them and be ready when an opportunity comes along.

A joke going with a good friend of mine is that "The first one you kill is for the excitement and love of the sport, After that it"s because they deserve it"

Hang in there!

They do deserve it.

If it was easy I think I'd loose interest.

I hear you man.......I am in a Spring gobbler drought myself.  I hope I have to choke one out with my hands to finish it off.

On the bright side though,,,,when I went out yesterday evening, I found this.

It was a good hunt, even though no turkeys got to be harmed.
