Vent rib optic mount .questions

You have 2 options on a direct red dot mount to rib but your not going to like price. Dr. 5.0 quickshot or Aimpoint S1. Sun optics makes a picatiny rail you can mount to rib and then you can use any type of optic.

I have a vent rib mount on my REM 1187 12ga, never an issue with it. Been on the gun 20 plus years. I would need to look up model, it is a scoped gun.
