Tagged my 4th bird yesterday morning. Called one in to 60 yards but hung up once it saw my decoy and just stood their and drummed. He started acting spooked and done the adjusting of the wings and was gone, walked off. Called that bird in two times this season, first time was last saturday and he circle behind me with another longbeard at 60 yards. Anyway, I was headed back to the truck and thought that I had heard another one, so I just stayed put. Finally got a location on him and went after him. The closer I got to him the closer he was gettin to me. I eased up next to the field he was in and he was walking toward me gobblin about every 20 seconds, constantly. When he got straight in front of me, I called a little just to get him to stay put and I let the mossberg bark. Season over with two more weeks of fanstastic  hunting left. Gotta get my boy out there and see if he can bag and tag one.

17.4 pounds
10 5/8 beard
7/8 spurs
nice two year old.

It has been the best season for killin and having birds with in 40 yards of me thatI have ever had. I have tagged out several times but never this fast. I think my kill to hunt ratio is about 30-40%.

Right on - congrats!   :z-guntootsmiley:
