Mid day locators. When do you use them?

I see people talk about and use locators mid day. Just wondering what situations you all use them. Do you use them if you already know a bird is in a general location and trying to get his exact position so to move on him? 99% of the time when im walking around mid day im trying to strike a gobble with my hen call. Maybe if one gobbles on his own then maybe I will use a locator trying to position on him. Just curious when y'all use em?

Personally never, I'll hoot natural voice at daylight for on the roost gobbles, after that it's always turkey calls for me.

Besides them gobbling in response to me cutting or helping, Midday I've heard more birds sound off to woodpeckers than any other animal though.

Later in the morning and midday I sometimes use crow calls but, mostly just turkey calls. They'll sometimes gobble at  loud high pitch yelps and cutting.
Listen for the gobble

Crow call for me, but only if hen calls are not working, and then not too crazy.
Psalms 118v24: This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I am a firm believer in bringing out the wingbone later in the morning or during an afternoon hunt when I haven't heard a peep.   I cannot tell you how many times we've gotten one to respond after trying every other turkey call.
