870 sps base for red dot?

What base goes on the Remington sps turkey, it came drilled and tapped from factory. I ordered a red dot and want to make sure to get the correct base the first time.

But any standard 4 screw Remington 870 mount will work. I used the Redfield two piece mount but only used one piece and put a fastfire on it,  fit perfectly.

Thanks. I ordered a mueller quick shot, would it fit on just one piece of the two piece mount as well?

I just looked online at some pics on guns, in all likelihood it will be good.  It may overhang the rail a little bit, but honestly it looks like it will be perfect.

Call William at Sumtoy and have him send you a mount, they are really low profile and fit great.

Someone used to make a mount that clamps to the vent rib and then it gives you a weaver/piccatinny style base. Having trouble finding it now, any ideas? Thanks

Mine is a sps 870, It came from the factory with no rib, iron sights and the receiver drilled and tapped, I went with a UTG pro  870/1100 series Picatinny mount.

Good choice. I have bolted on several of the UTG rails and they work great. Very good quality piece for the money. Just wish I had seen this earlier cause I have a brand new one in the package I would have cut you a deal on. lol
