Anyone try the new Banded pants this spring?  I looked at then inNashville, but never got any.  They looked good and the material felt good.  A little expensive, but I'm willing to try them if they are fairly cool and hold up decent

ShootingABN!

Never seen a set. However I wouldn't put that much into a pair of pants for running and gunning. Good luck.

I have never tried the Banded, I had to search to see what they were all about. I do have the Old Tom pants from Drake which are very light weight. I usually do not even get them out until toward the end of the season when it starts to warm up. You can usually find the pants discounted if you are patient, if I remember correctly the retail is around $65.00

Spitten and drummen

What are they and what makes them cost that much? Im just curious.

They're decent pants. I have a pair I wear on wet days because the pants have a water proof butt in them and I drop the seat off my vest those days to keep it dry. The gaiters are a nifty idea but overall I think it's a fail. For some reason the fit is different between the different camo patterns. The original bottomland fit different than the new bottomland pattern. The pocket layout I like.

If you want bands around the legs of your Favorite pants, go to the internet and buy some boot bands.  They run $2-$4 for several pair.  Some of our military use these to blouse their boots.  Two different styles, spring style and  elastic style.  E-bay has plenty.  Definitely helps keep ticks from crawling up your legs, I prefer permethrine.  Spray your clothes, let dry, good to go.  $65 NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have looked at them. They were on sale at Avery after turkey season for no where near 65.00 but I don't remember the price. I will not buy pants any more unless they have a draw string or something similar on the pant legs. These did not have it.

I bought a couple pairs of the Eagle Pass pants from Academy this year and have been very pleased with them. They held up very well to hard use, and you can't beat the price. I also like that all the pockets are either buttons or zippers, NO VELCRO!

Bringing this back up.  Curious on whether or not these are noisy or not.  I'm strongly considering a pair.  It usually doesn't take long here for it to get hot and these pants seem like they would be good for that.   I was planning on picking up a pair in Nashville this time, but they weren't there.  I wanted to try them on first before I spent that much on a pair of pants
