Had $80 in gift certificates from Bass Pro Shops so went there and picked up a few things. My intent had been to spend it all on ammo but they only had 3 boxes left of the Winchester XR "6 shot in the 1050 velocity 1 7/8 oz. load so I grabbed a small pack of reloads for a Thermacell and a holster for it as well. I did not have the money to buy the unit but figured it would be less I would have to spend in the future.
Well when I got to the counter the guy asked me if I would like to apply for their credit card and said even if I was turned down they would give me 20 bucks so I figured why not. I did that they gave me a hat a bag and 20 bucks towards anything in the shot so I went back grabbed the Thermacell unit and put the rest of the balance on the card (I was approved for the card) which was only $9 or $19 I don't recall and left with a few more bucks in my pocket then expected. I would really like to order myself a pair of spring boots but really can't afford to pay off the card right away and the interest on the card is rather high so I think I will just have to deal with wet feet again this year.

Also got the gun sling I ordered in the mail and am just waiting for the gun shop to call me and tell me the scope is on it and I can come pick it up. I hope to get the gun and scope dipped at Tarjac by Spring hunting 2020
