we have had a lousy spring with snow and rain and the fields are just starting to turn green but no birds, are we just behind this year, we have had a boon in the Bobcat, Canadian Lynx and Coyote population and that has taken a toll, but would it be ogical that they are just doing a fly down and going to feed in the acorns left from last years bumper crop, there would have to be bugs in the field for them to be feeding in the open. Last year they were setting on clutches of eggs already and now this year they have not even started strutting hard, i am at a lost but would it be better to woods hunt them?
