We got the boys M2 back from the Smith yesterday. Had it drilled and tapped, mounted a FF3 on top of a Sumtoy base. I would like to add: I ordered a Sumtoy .562 and the base. Not only did I think the price was good, service was easy and quick, delivery time was awesome fast. So today we go to the range. The gun looks sexy, I almost want one for myself.
I picked up some of the 20g Federal TSS #9, I have some Nitro TSS #9, we shall see. Last year it shot 273 with a IC .570 which I liked, out of the Nitros.
I will be takeing my BPS 10, Shooting a IC 690 in it with Nitro TSS #7.5, it shot a 369. "I need to shot it because I never can remember how I have to hold the sights on it. Plus its just plan out fun to hear the 10g go booooooooommmm.
Its almost time fellows, almost time. Getting excited here, had my vest on yesterday and ran a bunch of mouth calls. Dusted off the slates, inventoried the vest.  :turkey2:

Gen.27:3

It's certainly getting close. Let us know how your range time turns out. I am looking forward to spending a few hours behind my Turkey guns soon.
Gen 27:3  Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me,

Tail Feathers

I only have two weeks to get mine sighted in after a red dot change this off season.  I got it close with light loads but need to go finalize it, but cold rain is forecast for the next three days (my days off!).
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Well, I shot the 20g twice first. Moved the dot a little bit then shot the 10g. The 20g I shot at 40 yards off hand, the 10g at 50 yards off a bench. I decided the 10g is not as awesome to shoot as I remembered. Man does that chunk of metal kick off a bench. Luckily I will not be doing that for another year. Then shot the 20g once more for conformation.
Both guns shoot well, the 20g looks really good at 40 and the 10, well, its a 10g shooting TSS, its a head ripper, even at 50 yards. I might bye some Nitro TSS 9 shot for the 10 just for the fun of it and to see just how many little holes I can get in a 10" circle.
Didn't count any holes, just shot the shoot and see targets. First time ever shooting them, their pretty cool also.

Good luck every body, and be safe

10 gauge and TSS is like putting a 300lb women in a nighty. Both are better off in smaller sizes.

Haha... but, 10 gauges with TSS and 300 lb. Women in nightie get the job done!

I'd run from either of the 2,but I'm also getting old..Either one wouldn't be worth the abuse anymore..  :icon_thumright:
