Trying to get my buddy's gun, Remington 11-87, set up and I'm looking for choke advice for Federal TSS. I'm not a fan of the flight control wad so my experience with it is brief. He has a factory full flush, Hevishot 662 which is ported, and some type of HTL safe non ported 665 that he couldn't remember the name of (I haven't saw this choke to ID it). Which out of your experience would be the best place to start, thanks in advance.

I use a .660" Indian Creek on my 28" barrel 11-87.

I have shot a .665 Indian Creek and a .665 jelly head out of my 870 and both did great with the federals. To my understanding the new wad is different and will work with both ported and non ported chokes. I also think the federal will tolerate a tighter constricted choke very well.

When my son was shooting the Fed TSS we were able to get great results with the factory full, the Remington choke with the knurled end.

Carlson's non-ported .640 choke.  The Federal TSS loads like a tighter choke than other TSS shells due to the Flex wad.
