.410 3” Apex 9.5s at 35 yards

Finally got to pattern my TR Imports youth
.410 with a 21" barrel. Factory full choke that measures at around .388 or so. Pattern held up great with the Apex 9.5s out to 35 yards (144 in the 10"). At 40 it dropped all the way down to like 70ish. Killer to 35 which is far enough for me! The Federal .410 9s did not pattern with near as much density or consistency in my gun.

So a guestion for you.
Where did all those pellets go ? Are they simply in the 11 or 12 inch area around your 10" circle  ?
140 to 70 is a huge drop for 5 yards it seems .

I purchased a box of the Federal #9 TSS but want to try the Apex 9.5's. Those seem to be the best load for this gun.
