Help!

Noticed several call makers using some type of sealant around the playing surface. Appears to be from the outside of the playing surface. Any reason for this? Is it still glued on the bottom as well?

I think what you are talking about is the actual glue that holds the playing surface in.

When you press the surface in, the glue will seep out of the edge of pot and playing surface.

Some guy's glue job is cleaner than others.

JHL is correct but yes, it's still glued to the shoulder, just a little squeezes up around the edge of the surface. It's all good.
