Multi Beard

I killed a double bearded jake and was wondering about the beards. Right now I just cut them off together and left the piece of skin holding them together. Do I leave them like that and put in borax? Bubba

I put mine in an open shoe box cover the beard with borax for a few weeks

I just pin the skin down and salt it down heavy

I will genty wash the beard, let it dry for a bit then trick the cut off end into salt or borax.  Stick it in about half inch or so.  Let it sit like that for week or two and good to go.  All the ways so far will work.
