This is me pretty much all season. I do wear all black in the blind now though.

I'm more like the first pic most seasons.  including this spring. ;D
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I start out like the last day pic, lol. It's scary at the end of the season   :OGturkeyhead:

I haven't hunted that much the last couple seasons, but my wife has always told me that after a season where I hunt pretty much every day (God I miss that consulting gig!) that I look like I've worked a 30 day shutdown on 7-16's.

We hunted 44 days straight about 6 years ago and  I was so glad to see the season end. I was guiding for some of our high end clients and I was mostly burned out from dealing with them, but finding birds 44 days straight ain't easy and it didn't happen. There was days where we had one dead at 6:05 and days where I would hit 5 different properties and walk 10 miles and not hear a turkey. It was a good year. We killed 26 or 27 birds that year in AL and MS, but I don't think I really want to do it again... Give me my family and friends and a dozen leisurely hunts in a season!

Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

A buddy who hunts every day of the season did one year of guiding and said thats it he'd rather take friends, family, kids, vets ect for free then strangers who pay and expect things.

Kind of ruins some days of hunting and doesn't make any more money then just hunting the morning and going to work to pay the bills in the afternoons.
