My First Turkey with a pot call i made.

I didn't really make make it lol. I bought a precut pot sanded finished it and added the Glass. Then i found a striker that sounded good to me. He came right into the call. When he saw the DS jake it was on lol. I had the decoy setting in the side by side trail. This gave me the best shot from my blind. Now if i can post a pic .

Congratulations. That's the opening steps of learning to make them. My GF wants me to start making some now, we spent 2 hours watching videos on how to make them. Most were laminate calls and I want to do one from a solid piece of wood. Nice turkey by the way.

Pretty cool....congrats. If I ever find the time I'd live to try making one myself as I grew up woodworking and have all the tools; just not the time!
