Glad to see that you had success. I'm in Southern Illinois and filled my 1st and 5th season tags, missing a nice tom during the third season. I've got to learn to really concentrate on putting that red dot directly on his head rather than just in the vicinity. Those Winchester XR Longbeards really shoot a tight pattern!

Jackson County here.  I've seen a couple guys that I consider to be awesome turkey hunters, really struggle this year.  I'm blaming the weather but who knows.  Now that the crappie are done spawning not sure what I'm gonna do.  I guess bass fish!!!!!

BTW, both of my birds were killed with the XR Longbeards in 5 shot, 3".  First time I've used them but it won't be the last!
