Short Paddle Call

[Ozark Ridge Runner]

I seem to remember seeing some paddle calls over the years that were in the 9 inch length range as opposed to the more common 11 inch range.  Does anyone have any of this length of paddle call?  Are there any call makers that are known for calls of that dimension?  I would kinda like to have a call like that if there is something out there.

Ralph Snodgrass makes a good one. There are a couple other makers out there that build them.

I have a long box that Marlin made for me 4 or 5 years ago in Ipe and Limba.  Heck of a call.  I didn't know he made a shorter version.  I may have to give him a call.  Thanks for the other gentlemens names, I will certainly check out their work as well.  We are fortunate to have many fine call makers and talented craftsmen.
