I received the pack of calls from the giveaway today. I'll have to say I was impressed. Most of the 3 packs I used to buy (various companies) usually had one really good call and one so so and one for the trash can. Not the case with the Black Death series. All of the calls are first rate calls. I haven't used Woodhaven mouth calls in a few years. The only place nearby that sold them went out of business. I realize why I was so fond of their calls, they sound awesome. I will say the Black Wasp is my favorite and is probably the thickest latex of the 3. I run my calls with a lot of air, even if I'm calling soft to close birds. The Black Hornet would be in between the Wasp and Venom with the Venom being the highest pitched call of the bunch and requires almost no air to make sharp cutts and some great yelps. I'll open season with Monday with the Black Wasp and break a gobblers heart with it. To sum it up, great pack of calls and I'll likely purchase some more of them for next year. Again, thanks Shannon and Mike.
