Snakewood and cocobolo....and I just ran katalox on it and that is quite nice as well

I haven't had anything not sound good on green slate.
Gaboon Ebony and Purple Heart are my favorite

I agree with Captain Hooks, that green slate just sounds good. On my Brad Roberts Red Cedar the striker that came with it, I think it's Bulletwood is excellent. I have 4 Lymans that are great, tulipwood, mac ebony, dymalux, and maybe the best yellowheart. But really everything I've put to it sounds darn good.
