I received this call today after inquiring about the makers that made calls similar to the Jet Slate. Chris Brumfiel answered me and told me he could make one. We discussed wood variations and what I wanted, which wasn't complicated just told him I wanted a domestic wood for the most part. Well this call came in the mail today. It is a walnut/ black limba combination and it is a gorgeous call. The call ran like a dream to begin with and then he told me to try something... wont say what. Well when I tried that this call is probably now my favorite soft talker/ small call. If you don't have one you need one, I know I will definitely get one or two more for the shelf.
