Clear finish for pots

What is the best clear finish for the exotic woods used for some pots. I am doing Wenge , padauk, lacewood , walnut, poplar and maple right now. Thanks, Al Baker

Zinnser clear shellac Spray can is what I use to seal wood , then use deft polyurethane satin spray can for final finish ... they have semi gloss and gloss also. Just worked for me better than brushing it on
