Gobble!

Decided to try one of the Fast Fire/Venom knock offs from eBay on my sons 20 gauge.

This is the one I purchased.

It's still early as I've only fired 8 shots through it but I'm happy so far. The sight comes with a 1 year warranty and, though I haven't had a issue yet, the company seems responsive. Green dot has 5 brightness settings. Its also has a auto brightness feature that is nice. You turn the sight off by holding down the power button which I like. Unfortunately the up/down/ and left/right adjustments are shoot from the hip. They do not click like most sights as you adjust them. Once you make a few adjustments you figure it out fast. After 8 shots it has held its zero. Outside the dot looks good and round. In low light conditions it does have some what of a star appearance. I'll update this thread as the sight gets more use. A negative is the battery is located under the sight like the original Fast Fires.

Here's a picture of it on the gun. I'll get a close up of the sight. My 5 year old shot this setup extremely well Sunday which was the overall goal.

Looks like the same sight I have ...I purchased one from Osprey optics and so far has held up to 2 1/2 oz of APEX with no issues. It also does not have clicks in the windage and elevation screws but as stated you get the hang of it after a few adjustments.

My long term fear was it holding its zero but if yours is handling the 2.5oz loads then that is reassuring.
