Pretty stoked about some calls on the way

Talked to Lon Trice yesterday for a bit, he told me about a new call he's building out of bullet tree. He supposedly got the wood from a guy that paid rights to the tree. He also said he won an award at the keystone classic with glass over glass.

Also got in touch with David Halloran and ordered his new green slate and metal mouth II after he cleared up an issue that I had last year.

Season can't come soon enough! Idle time is hard on the wallet.

That Bullettree call is outstanding. I have one in glass over slate that is ridiculously good!

Sounds to me like you are expecting some good pots. That bullet tree wood kind of looks like a walnut. I never heard of such a thing.

I have a bullet tree in green slate on the way. It will be my first green slate call. Sounded great on the soundfile he sent

I had him do green slate also. After doing some digging it appears to be "bulletwood".
