I finally made the call to Mr. Sneed and ordered a couple calls.
To my surprise they arrived quickly.

He's running really fast right now. I ordered an outlaw hen, hot hen and lonesome hen around Thanksgiving and had them before Christmas. Then I ordered a raspy boss hen after Christmas when I saw a post about them on his Facebook page, and it got here today. All four calls are unique, with distinct sounds, and well worth getting. Plus, talking to Mr. Lonnie on the phone to place an order is a joy by itself.

I now own a bunch of box calls,,quite a few pot calls crystal,glass,aluminum,copper. I only own one slate
A Sneed Hot Hen and I don't feel like I need another slate.

I have both and love both. I haven't had the outlaw hen long enough to prove it but my hot hen has proven itself many times. I have had three hot hens but the one I have now just seems to have something extra. I seriously wouldn't take $1000 for it.
