Thomas Lovern

Anyone have any info on Thomas Lovern, Charleston, SC, Turkey Call Maker.  He started making lures in 1952 from exotic woods he got from all over the world while in the Navy.  He started making turkey calls in the early 1980's.  I ran across 2 of them from a lure collecting friend.  Link to picture trail with pictures of the calls:

Thomas Lovern also made knives and boats/canoes.  Trying to find value.  NFS, I collect SC tackle and I have a small collection of Thomas Lovern's baits.  I appreciate any help.
