Whats going on with everyone?   Who's hunting?

Things have cooled off here after killing 3 the first 3 days of the season.  Went yesterday to a new piece of property for the first time but did not hear a bird.  Sign is there but we had a big weather change in temps so I reckon it shut them up.  Went this morning with a guy from work to another track for the first time and had 3 toms gobbling good but they never came our way.  Will be back at it in the morning and Sat.

Working tonight and tomorrow then vacation begins.  Heading to Virginia early Sunday and start hunting on monday the 11th.  MD opens the following monday and I don't have to be back to work until the 21st.  Then NJ opens the 25th!  Got a pretty tight schedule but can't wait.  Just finished camoing up the go pro so hopefully I'll get some video this season.

we still have 10 days to go, and I am filling my time with orders....weather is cooperatiing so far, we had some rain, flooding and wind, but things are calming down. Still doing radiation ... still could use your prayers, pappy

I have to work a few hours in the morning, then i'm leaving about 12 o'clock to head up to the mountains.
I'm going to try and catch a few wild trout in the evening and hear some birds fly up at dark.
Saturday morning it's going to be on baby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love opening day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patiently waiting here in Ohio, Youth season comes in the 16th, and I've got two 12 year olds I'm taking out that weekend and then it's on starting the 18th!!

6 weeks to go.   So don't blame me from wanting to avoid you all.  It hurts when you see something ya can;t have and eveyone keeps rubbing it in

Good news though.  I have 2 tags.  Bad news its the same week.   Good news I can finally go after that double.  Bad news it will be hard being the last week of the seasons.  Good news its getting closer
