Just posted in the benelli pattern thread and found this. Figured I would post here too. I've been hunting all my life from waterfowl to deer but never got in to turkey hunting due to there being no turkeys where I grew up. After serving the the Marines for a few years I got out and moved to Texas, where there are plenty of turkeys! Made my first trip on some public land and connected on my first Tom and now I'm addicted! I hear yelps and gobbles all day in my head! Anyway, this forum is the reason I was able to successfully harvest that Tom. A ton of knowledge from guys/gals willing to help. Anyone else from Texas that wants to get together let me know!
