Anyone with the Gods Of Thunder team still hunting?

Scottyb and Chocolatelabz, were you able to get the pics of your kills?

Looks like things will be coming down to the wire again.

Got soaked trying to fill a tag this am

Had Chocolipz send me his spur pics that wouldn't upload and got em up and I sent some encouragement to Scott to get his up.

Best I can figure..

MDbowman, Whitelightning, Chcltlabz, ScottyB and myself have season/tags til the 26th.  Think Fullfan should have til the 31st in PA.  Captain Hooks til 23rd or 31st if he goes to PA.  Whitelightning is even kicking the idea of Maine around to take it til June 3rd.

Have taken a few days off, we still have 2 weeks left here in Pa. I know where there is a stud but he will and has not gobbled for a week. Have trail cam pics of him from yesterday, sooooo I know he is still alive.

Just got back, had the oldest daughter on him here behind the house. Had him at 70 yds gobbling good. The wife let the old dog out and you guessed it. Here came the old dog looking for us. Bird continued to gobble with the dog at my side. He would not come any closer and the rain set in, left him for another day. Dang ol dog, will miss him when he is gone.

I was done in NC a week ago. Never called up another gobbling tom but did call in bunches of jakes several times...The tremors have stopped but the night sweats still keep me awake. I'm not deer hunting this fall, going OOS to several states to hunt fall birds and gain private land permission for next spring.

As derek said I'm kicking the idea of Maine around. season goes to the 3rd. Still trying to learn all the public lands up that way. Anyone ever hunt up there?
