Leupold Deltapoint Pro on a 11-87

Do any of you gents have a Deltapoint Pro on a 11-87?  If so what base mount did you use?  I know you can use a Weaver style cross bolt base and then the corresponding base for the DP Pro but I would like to keep the sight as low on the gun as possible.  Any info about adapting a pistol base on to the receiver of the 11-87 would be ideal it would seem.
