So I met up with my buddy for our annual 1st Season WI Bow Hunt and tagged out!! Birds were on fire this morning, had what sounded to be 10 different toms going this morning. I had to just sit and listen as he had to work (3rd Shift) he made it out about half hour after flydown and had hens, jakes and a coyote in, then we get a tom out at 150ish yards in full strut, bird won't move and we spot the hen... I call the jakes back in and they start to head to the hen, tom don't like this and the fight breaks out. All these birds leave, an hour later I strike a gobble and here we go! I end up calling the hen and 2 jakes back in another tom and then 2 more light up. We can hear some spit & drum and then I spot him strutting in, before he gets to us 2 other toms run in and fight #2 breaks out, finally the boss works back around and my buddy puts an arrow through him at 14-16 yards and he does the old somersault and dies out in front of us! Caught the whole thing on camera and it's awesome.
