Rem 1187 Shurshot Stock?

I've got an Remington 1187 supermag I'd like to put a shurshot stock on. On some sites the 1187 stock says 3" only and some it doesn't. Is there a certain model I need for the supermag? Also will an 870 stock fit the 1187?  Thanks for the help.

I don't think you can swap an 870 stock with an 11-87 due to the auto needing to accommodate the recoil spring in the stock. I'm not 100% certain of this as remington may make one stock with all the required drilling to fit either gun.
Someone will chime in that knows for certain, soon enough.

The butt stock for the 870 will fit 11-87, at least in the 20 gauges. I bet the 12 will interchange also but not 100% sure.

I ordered one for a 12 ga 870 when they first came out. they sent me one for an 1187 i assume it will work they other way around to.of course the forearms didn't interchange

That stock will work on both guns, 3" and 3.5" but the stocks are different for the 870 and the 11-87/1100.
