The bird I killed this past weekend had a gangrene spot about the size of a quarter on his chest (Looked like he got spurred). I cut it out and threw it away, checked the rest of the breast and it looked fine and didn't smell. Ive talked to a couple guys and they said it would be ok to eat. Has anyone ever had this happen and still eat it?

That's what I do....cut off the stanky parts and eat the rest.  Granted, I'm not afraid of gas station sushi, either.

Yes. Just cut it out. The rest of it will be fine.
60% of the time it works every time!

I've done that several times.  No problems encountered.

LOL, yup I figure if you can eat one of them "Roller Dogs" at the gas station and survive you can pretty much eat anything meat like...
