Slow start this morning with no gobbles at all. After my first set up I walked the rigde as far as I could go clucking and yelping about every 30 minutes. I zig zagged back and for easing along and on my way back went to the opposite side of ridge line and slowly worked my way back. Yelped and sat for about 10 minutes and heard 1 gobble about 70 yards out. Finally saw his fan as he went behind a tree I raised and shot 23 pound 11" beard 7/8 spurs

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
