I probably should add that I worked in the middle of the highway for years so I may not be best judge of common sense. I always said you needed to be aware of traffic but not terrified or you couldn't do your job.

You don't dwell on the thought. If you do; you can't function. Until about 3 years ago; I squirrel  hunted in tennis shoes. Coonhunted about 4 nights a week and still don't own snake boots or chaps.

If you hunted where I live, that wouldn't be a problem at ALL.  No toothy crawlers just right here.  But you don't have to go too far to find 'em.

I don't dwell on the thought of being in a car crash.  But I wear my seatbelt........... same as I wear snake boots when I'm hunting where the nasties live.   Yep.

Got buzzed around a rocky ledge one day, never did find any. Guess how many pair of snake boots I have used since!!

I'm all about a freebie but you can keep those.  I have enough on my hands keeping a watch out for rattlesnakes and copperheads!

Friend of mine down hunting Osceola and all he sent me this morning is a picture of a cotton mouth and a big one at that! Yikes!
